Tidewater Consulting is a solo software consultancy offering two things: hands-on software development and technology integration and planning, right-sized for small and independent businesses. On the build side, I design and ship custom software: internal tools, automations, AI services and systems, and software applications tailored to how a specific business actually operates. On the strategy side, I help owners cut through the noise — what AI tools are worth adopting, which are hype, and where a modest investment in technology actually moves the needle on time, cost, or growth. Think of it as a technology advisor who's also willing to get in the code and build the thing. Backed by over a decade of engineering experience across e-commerce, fintech, consumer apps, and education, and grounded in the San Juan Islands community. I bring big-company technical rigor to businesses that don't have (or want) a big-company budget.
